From DEN to Downtown

Transportation & Travel

Located in the heart of downtown Denver, the Colorado Convention Center is easily accessible from Denver International Airport (DEN) via the RTD A Line commuter rail. This train runs regularly between the airport and Denver Union Station, a central transit hub about a mile from the convention center; from there, attendees can hop on the 16th Street FreeRide (formerly Free MallRide), take a quick taxi or rideshare, or walk to the venue. Numerous RTD light rail lines and bus routes also serve downtown, making it easy to travel from hotels and neighborhoods across the metro area.

Beyond public transportation, rideshare options like Uber and Lyft offer convenient door-to-door service throughout the city, and taxis are available at both the airport and downtown. Rental cars can be picked up at DEN for those looking to explore beyond the city. Many hotels are located within walking distance of the convention center, and Denver’s walkable downtown makes getting around on foot simple and efficient.

The Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown will serve as GSA’s headquarters hotel. All hotels listed provide easy access to the Colorado Convention Center.

GSA has selected several hotels in proximity to the Colorado Convention Center. Rates are in U.S. dollars and do not include the current applicable tax of 18% + $2.54 recovery fee per room per night.

*Cancellation Policy

Reservations canceled on or after 15 September 2026 will be subject to a $25 USD fee for each room canceled.

Cancellations made after 25 September 2026 will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy.

Failure to cancel a reservation 72 hours before arrival will result in a non-refundable one-night room charge, including tax, posted to the credit card on file.

Special Requests

Please contact Orchid.Events at +1-800-521-7845 or email help@orchid.events if you have special requests and/or if you need to book a hotel suite. Requests are not guaranteed, and hotels will assign specific room types based on availability upon arrival.

Reservation Confirmation Acknowledgments

Orchid.Events will provide reservation acknowledgments via email within 24 hours when you book your reservation online or by phone ~ fax and mail reservation acknowledgments will be sent within 72 hours of receipt. If you do not receive your acknowledgment within this time frame, contact Orchid.Events. You will not receive written confirmation from the hotel.

Deposits, Cancellations, and Changes (see above)

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card equaling the amount of one night’s room and tax for each room reserved. Please send changes and/or cancellations to Orchid.Events via email at help@orchid.events or in writing by fax to +1-801-355-0250. After 15 September 2026, contact hotels directly to make changes and cancellations.

Use the Roommates & Rides community to share housing, airport shuttles, and/or carpools. You can also use this service to make arrangements to meet up with your colleagues.
